Canadian actress Carrie-Anne grew up in Vancouver where she lives with her mother Barbara Moss and older brother Brooke as child. Her father Melvyn Moss is divorced from her mother, so that she spent a part of her younger years in Burnaby and moved later to Granville Island as teenager.
She started an relation with actor/director Steven Roy in 1999, after their meeting at an Hollywood acting class. The couple marries in novermber 1999 and their marriage lasts until present day. Their son Owen was born in september 2003 and son Jaden was born in November 2005. Their daughter Frances Beatrice was born in June 2009.
She joined the Vancouver Children's Musical Theatre when she was eleven years old. She graduated at the Magee Secondary School Choir in Vancouver and graduated later at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena in 1988. She worked as waitress in restaurants before she starts with her model career.
She moves to Spain to pursue a career as model, when she was twenty years old and moves back again to Los Angeles in 1992. She plays assassin Trinity again in this story about hacker Neo (played by Keanu Reeves) who has rescued many humans from the matrix in the last six months of the war in the sequel ''The Matrix Reloaded'' (2003). He brought all humans to the only stronghold of the Resistance named Zion. Neo discovers his superpowers: super speed, ability to see the codes of the things inside the matrix and a certain degree of precognition. He notices the news that 250,000 machine sentinels are digging to Zion who will arrive in 72 hours. Zion prepares for the ultimate war and Neo, Morpheus (played by Laurence Fishburne) and Trinity are advised by the Oracle to find the Keymaker, who would help them to reach the Source of the Matrix.
She plays Trinity again in this story where Zion is preparing for the oncoming war against the machines with very little chances of survival in sequel ''The Matrix Revolutions'' (2003). Neo's associates try to free him from The Merovingian where he's trapped between the real world and the Matrix. They believe that he is the One who will end the war between the humans and the machines. What they don't know is that there is a threat from a third party who has plans to destroy both worlds.
She plays Aurelia in this story about slave Milo (played by Kit Harington) who is turned into a invincible gladiator, who finds himself in a race against time to save his true love Cassia (played by Emily Browning) in 79 A.D in ''Pompeii'' (2014). She's the beautiful daughter of a wealthy merchant who has been unwillingly betrothed to the corrupt Roman Senator. The Mount Vesuvius erupts and the lava is streaming to the arena, where Milo must fight his way out in order to save his beloved one, while the once magnificent Pompeii crumbles around him.
